London, UK, 26 October 2020 – Yext, the Search Experience Cloud, has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's G-Cloud 12 framework. The Digital Marketplace supports the Government vision of a public sector 'Amazon' meaning that Yext, as a supplier, is able to deliver services to Government departments across the UK.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

Public sector organisations outside of the UK already take advantage of Yext. For example, the World Health Organization recently launched a new search feature for questions on COVID-19.

And now as a G-Cloud supplier, UK central government, local government and key sectors such as the emergency services can take advantage of all of the Yext Search Experience Cloud, helping to improve the experiences on their websites and portals and make public service locations like hospitals, town halls, police stations and libraries more discoverable.

"After Yext's recent success with the World Health Organization, US State Department, State of New Jersey and State of Alabama, we're delighted to now bring Yext Search Experience Cloud to the UK public sector," said Jon Buss Managing Director, EMEA at Yext. "Our mission is to help businesses and organisations around the world deliver official answers everywhere people search, and this new announcement is a step forward to help the public sector do exactly that. Providing the right answers has never been more important. The call for businesses and governments to eliminate misinformation around the coronavirus outbreak is growing increasingly; wrong answers during this COVID-19 pandemic will cost lives. With the public sector at the forefront of the pandemic, access to Yext's services will allow them to better answer the public's questions at a time when they most depend on safe and accurate information."
