CorePower Yoga leverages the Yext Knowledge Engine to make sure its digital knowledge is always accurate

CorePower Yoga, founded in Denver in 2002, strives to show the world the incredible, life-changing things that happen when an intense workout is rooted in the mindfulness of yoga. Through a variety of yoga classes, convenient times and more than 180 studio locations, CorePower Yoga provides a highly intense and incredibly mindful form of fitness.

“We really believe in the practice and benefits of yoga and want to bring it to as many people as possible,” states Reena Saucedo, Digital Marketing Director. “As a team, in marketing and beyond, that is our focus and our goal.”

When Saucedo joined CorePower Yoga in 2014, her first major initiative was to redesign the website. “One of the big questions we kept coming back to was, ‘who maintains the digital knowledge?’” she explains. “It was not uncommon to find a wrong phone number or address when searching for a studio because everything was manually updated. A former colleague suggested Yext as a more automated service that would help us maintain and manage our studio data.”

CorePower Yoga uses Yext Listings to manage the public facts about its brand. The Yext Knowledge Engine enables brands like CorePower Yoga to manage the digital knowledge about their people, places and products across their websites, mobile apps, internal systems and the entire Knowledge Network — over 100 maps, apps, search engines, GPS systems and social networks including Google, Apple, Facebook, Bing and Yahoo.

In its first 18 months with Yext, CorePower Yoga experienced a 63% increase in Google customer actions, such as Get Directions and Clicks to Call on Listings. CorePower Yoga’s views in Google search and Google Maps increased 38% and Yext suppressed over 1,500 duplicate listings across the digital ecosystem.

“All our studios operate in relatively the same way. Our offers, hours and basic data are consistent across studios,” explains Saucedo. “Going into the Yext Knowledge Manager to update the information for all our studios at once takes something that was tedious and labour intensive and makes it simple. It’s a simple offering — and one that is so necessary for companies to keep their information consistent and accurate.”
