Yext Acknowledged as a Centre of Excellence in Wellbeing by Great Place to Work®

Right on time for resolutions for a healthier 2019, Yext is pleased to announce its certification as a centre of Excellence in Wellbeing by Great Place to Work®.

Recognition as a centre of Excellence in Wellbeing is dependent on employees completing the Great Place to Work® Trust Index© survey designed to measure the workplace across the six key dimensions that underpin wellbeing:

  1. Work environment
  2. Financial security
  3. Mental and physical health
  4. Inter-personal relationships
  5. Work-life balance
  6. Fulfillment

This prestigious award comes shortly after Yext’s acknowledgment as a Best Small Workplace of 2018.

Yext employees are a close-knit group. The culture is one of learning fast, thinking big and getting stuff done; recognition awards are held on a quarterly basis to celebrate and support those who do. This goes hand-in-hand with having a great work-life balance — the Yext leadership team supports employees to make any accommodations needed to keep that strong balance, such as flexible working from home, active employee resource groups, and mentoring options.

The company recognises that emphasising mental and physical health is vital for employee productivity and satisfaction. Each quarter, Yext hosts an office wellness session, guided by a consultant that focuses on ‘slowing down to go faster.’ In October, Yext ran a Global Walking Challenge to encourage employees to take at least 10,000 steps a day. The team is also very active: employees bike to work, pop to the gym during lunch, or take walking meetings outside.

Under the continued leadership of Jon Buss, Northern Europe Managing Director, the team remains as devoted as ever to improve, to push boundaries, and run change initiatives. This includes a relationship with Hands on London, to ensure the team can regularly give back to the local community.
