Yext today announced that Ho Shin has joined the company's executive team as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Yext, the global Location Data Management leader, today announced that Ho Shin has joined the company's executive team as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Shin was most recently General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer of Millennial Media, where he helped guide the company through its international expansion, initial public offering and follow-on offering through the company's sale to Verizon/Aol. Shin has also served as a member of the Department of Homeland Security's Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory on matters involving data privacy and integrity. Before that role, he was General Counsel of Advertising.com, where he participated in the acquisition and integration of numerous companies — negotiating and launching international joint ventures and other corporate counselling.

Shin received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University and his BSc from the University of Maryland. Shin began his career as a litigation associate at Arnold & Porter in Washington. He brings over 20 years of legal experience to Yext.
