Yext, the global location data management leader, today announced it will host LocationWorld 2016 at The Conrad New York on 2-3 November 2016. The inaugural conference will bring together the brightest minds in marketing and technology to discuss the power of location in business, marketing and life. Speakers will include industry experts on Google, Facebook, Snapchat, Apple Maps, Bing, Instagram, Pokémon Go, Uber, Yahoo, Yelp, Yext and more.
“We have entered a new age of exploration — one in which the rising expectations of mobile customers have dramatically increased the importance of location data to consumers and businesses alike,” stated Jeffrey K. Rohrs, Yext’s CMO. “LocationWorld will help attendees navigate the new world of location-based marketing, customer service and engagement in ways that generate positive business results. We simply could not be more excited to bring this first-of-its-kind event to such an amazing location in the heart of New York City.”
LocationWorld will kick-off on Wednesday, 2 November with a keynote from the ultimate explorers — NASA astronauts and twin brothers, Captains Mark and Scott Kelly. The first day will also feature Jeff Glueck (CEO of Foursquare), Diphanshu Sharma (CEO of xAd) and Howard Lerman (CEO of Yext) in their first-ever, on-stage conversation about the past, present and future of location-based marketing and technology. After a full day of keynotes and breakouts on Thursday, 3 November, LocationWorld will wrap with a private concert at the iconic Highline Ballroom.
